Dudelange, located in southern Luxembourg, is characterized by its historical association with the steel industry, which has shaped both its economy and landscape. The area around the steel factory reflects a merge of industrial heritage and modern development, with remnants of the city's industrial past juxtaposed against contemporary urban planning. Dudelange's commitment to preserving its industrial history while embracing innovation underscores its dynamic character and appeal as a vibrant urban center in Luxembourg.

The project is situated in Dudelange's urban fabric, this double-family house blends with its surroundings, set against a post-industrial backdrop. The front facade spans four sunlit levels, contrasting with the back's façade, where only two upper floors receive direct sunlight. To ensure each apartment gets ample natural light, we chose vertically stacked duplexes, optimizing both functionality and aesthetic appeal in this diverse setting.
